Class Description
The seminar is designed to
show "how to do it" and to give the
participant ample time for hands-on
practice. The seminar includes the
following topics:

Bookkeeping basics, General navigation
within QuickBooks applications

Create a company and a meaningful Chart
of Accounts

Customers and vendors
-
Managing bank accounts
-
Adding entries, Job estimates, Billing
and invoicing, Receiving payments

Account receivable
-
Purchase orders, Paying bills and
printing checks. Accounts payable
-
Reconcile accounts. Tax preparation
-
Understanding financial reports,
budgeting and planning
The class includes
live exercises using QuickBooks
with a sample company preinstalled on each
PC.
This course is
taught in two 4-hour segments over
two consecutive Saturdays.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with
Windows.
This class is
not for QuickBooks on Mac
users.
