So you have this great business idea, and are ready
to launch it but realize you need some extra funds
to get started. You go to the bank, who asks for
your net worth, financial projections and other
detailed questions that you don’t have answers to.
This business plan writing seminar walks you through
the salient elements of a business plan: how to pull
together important market and competitive data
relevant for your business, figure out the unique
benefits your business offers, how to position your
business, and then develop a realistic sales
projection. You will learn to create a two year
financial plan, and figure out the break even point,
both of which will be thoroughly scrutinized by the
bank/ funder.
Maybe you don’t need to
raise money yet, but are feeling lost with all the
multiple challenges of launching a business. The
best remedy is to write your business plan, a
process that forces you to think through the
critical issues in an organized way and prepare your
roadmap for success. A practical 3-step method for
creating the first draft of your business plan will
be presented along with a detailed case study to
illustrate key areas of a plan.
The seminar is presented by
SCORE members that each have more than 20 years of
business experience in both small and large
companies. The presenters bring you practical,
"hands on" experience in business planning and
competitive business strategy. Also offered as a
reference tool is the Business Planning Guide Book
for $20. It is recommended that attendees purchase
this book, but it is not required for attendance at
the seminar.
