The Business
Plan
Successful businesses are built upon a well-developed business plan written by the
owner. This three hour seminar is designed to help attendees write and implement a
practical business plan tailored to specific business needs. This seminar will provide
a guide for every step of the planning process and will help you determine how to link
various aspects of managing your business. Marketing and constructing a cash flow
spread sheet will be covered. A practical 3-step method for creating the first draft
of your business plan will be presented along with a detailed case study to illustrate
key areas of a plan.
The seminar is presented by SCORE members that each have more than 20 years of
business experience in the effective preparation and successful use of business plans
in both small and large companies. The presenters bring you practical,
"hands on" experience in business planning and competitive business strategy. All
presenters are also available for standard one-on-one counseling made by appointment
through SCORE. During the scheduled counseling sessions, persons can discuss
specific applications for creating a draft of their business plan.
This seminar is based on the Business Planning Guide offered by SCORE for $20.
It is recommended that attendees purchase this book, but it is not required for
attendance at the seminar. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at
the seminar, or they can be purchased through the SCORE office.
