“With
SCORE’s help, I have taken an idea (invention) and
actually turned it into a tangible product that
produces positive cash flow. My advice to the new
entrepreneur, people should look into outfits like
SCORE, follow their program, listen to what they say
and you will be successful.
And do not be discouraged if the first SCORE
meeting goes bad. Continue and persevere.”

degrees in computer science and electrical
engineering. He worked as an engineer at Tandem
Computers and was lead engineer on many projects at
Hewlett Packard. He has worked in the automotive,
manufacturing, computers, software and solar
industries. Dean has consulted for companies
with solar projects including NASA and Webcore

products made in his company.
Within
the last year, with a tight budget, and with the
help of SCORE, he has managed to create his own
tooling to manufacture his special solar products,
and move his operation from his garage to an outside
manufacturer as well as develop additional sales
channels and a marketing strategy. “I am thankful to
SCORE for their sincere and continuous support and
help with all aspects of the company operations. At
the moment we are working very closely with our
SCORE counselors Ray Muzzy and Frank De Turris. Both
are helping us with business growth”, said Dean
Sala.

Suntactics is meeting an increasing customer demand
by increasing production so they can provide this
critical resource to all their customers for a large
number of everyday applications as well as
emergencies like tsunami, earthquakes, floods and
hurricanes where power is interrupted for days or
even weeks.
Suntactics is located in San Jose, CA. The units are
currently manufactured locally at Fastrak, a veteran
owned contract manufacturer also located in San
Jose.
“When
you need power for continuous critical emergency
communication you can depend on the powerful
sCharger-5 to meet that need”. San Jose, CA (PRWEB)

“The
simplest device I tried: the Suntactics sCharger-5,
a solar panel without any kind of battery and it
charged my phone in a couple of hours in direct
sunlight on the roof of the Forbes building.” said
Jon Bruner, Forbes New Product Editor,
“The
Suntactics worked great with my iPhone 3, 4 and my
iPad. My son and I went river rafting for
three days this last summer. During the day we ran
the rapids while we charged the iPad. Each night we
had full batteries while we watched movies in our
tent!” Said one of the Apple customer.
Suntactics has determined that their initial and
future marketing/sales efforts will be through
an expansion of Internet sales. SCORE counselors Ray
Muzzy and Frank De Turris are helping the company in
sales and marketing and also in the manufacturing
area. So that Dean can focus on his new product
development. Sales and revenues have grown rapidly
and they are profitable. Now the issue is to
continue this successful start.
Now, web development and
sales support will be required to expand the market
opportunities and overall sales for current and
future products. And here they need continuing
on-going support from SCORE .While narrating the
story Dean Sala said, “We continue to work with
SCORE counselors on marketing to help us as needed.
Also we hope to get a regular support from the SCORE
counselors to oversee our manufacturing endeavors”.
He concludes the story with the hope of a bright
future.
