At the Business Information Center
The Business Library is a comprehensive information center for small
business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Here, you will find the
research tools you need to successfully start, manage, and effectively run
a small business. We have over 600 books on small business, plus:
- Personal computers with high-speed Internet access;
- Entrepreneur Magazine's Start-up Guides by Industry,
covering everything from software consulting firms,
e-business, and import/export, to landscaping,
and coin-operated vending and staffing services;
- Up-to-date reference materials like the Business Plan
Handbooks (with hundreds of sample plans), the Encyclopedia
of Associations, and many Nolo Press books regarding
legal structure;
- A suite of software applications for small businesses,
along with some free samples;
- An extensive collection of videos on topics from customer
service techniques to restaurant start-up basics to a seven-part
QuickBooks tutorial; and
- A printer and copier for your use at a nominal charge.
Whether you are writing your business plan, creating an online
marketing campaign, or looking for sample agreements and contracts,
make use of the Library. Staff members will help you navigate our
resources, match you up with a small business expert for free
one-on-one counseling, and direct you to the training seminars
best suited to your needs.
