About Us

Silicon Valley SCORE

The Silicon Valley Chapter of SCORE has over 65 men and women dedicated to assisting small businesses to grow and prosper.  Our volunteer members are experienced executives with diverse backgrounds.  Many of them have started and grown their own successful businesses, some were corporate managers, and others have experience with non profit organizations or the government.

Our counselors' skills include: accounting, consulting, distribution, financial planning, franchising, human resources, marketing, operations, publishing, retail sales, strategic planning, sales, technology and nonprofit management, and doing business with the government.

Silicon Valley SCORE, is located in the San Jose Entrepreneurial Center at Market Street and Santa Clara Streets, and also does counseling at various chambers of commerce.  We offer free counseling, Business Library and Information Center, low cost Workshops and Seminars, E Mail Counseling and  Business Assessments.

The Bay Area is served by five chapters of SCORE including Silicon Valley SCORE chapter 405 which covers Silicon Valley and Santa Clara County.  The other four are San Francisco SCORE , North Coast SCORE, East Bay SCORE, and Santa Cruz SCORE.  You may find other SCORE locations by clicking here.

"SCORE provided one-stop shopping for learning important business basics. I not only received information, but got support and encouragement from their advisory counselors. This provided me with that extra bit of encouragement I needed to take that first giant step over seven years ago!"
