About Silicon Valley
SCORE
We are a chapter of
a nationwide organization called
SCORE.
We help Small Business
people through mentoring and training. Our
volunteer counselors bring decades of experience
in a variety of business disciplines and
industries. Counseling is provided at no
charge. Our workshops and seminars are
modestly priced.
The
Silicon Valley Chapter of SCORE has about 50 men
and women dedicated to assisting small
businesses to grow and prosper. Our volunteer
members are experienced executives with diverse
backgrounds. Many of them have started and grown
their own successful businesses, some were
corporate managers, and others have experience
with non profit organizations or the government.
Our counselors'
skills include: accounting, consulting,
distribution, financial planning, franchising,
human resources, marketing, operations,
publishing, retail sales, strategic planning,
sales, consumer products, Internet, technology
and nonprofit management, and doing business
with the government.
We are open during most
business days from 9AM to 5PM.
Silicon Valley SCORE, is
located at 234 East Gish Road, Suite 100 in San
Jose, 95112. (Be
careful to use the East Gish Road that
intersects with North First Street). As
you enter the parking lot, please go to the
second building towards to back. There is
plenty of free parking.
